MAINTENANCE OF YOUR FENCING
Maintenance & Cleaning Tips for your Glass Fencing
- Hose down the glass then clean the glass with warm water & dishwasher detergent, scrub with large sponge and for stubborn marks, a non scratch cleaning pad. Rinse well & blade off with a good quality squeegee. (we recommend Enjo window cleaning products for regular maintenance).
- Do NOT clean in direct sunlight, we recommend to clean at dusk for the best results.
- Do NOT use vinegar, CLR or any other harsh products that can damage any glass protection that may have bee applied.
- If your glass is in close proximity to the pool and getting splashed with pool water, we then recommend you hose down the glass after use to avoid salt water build up.
- If you get any limescale or calcium build up on the glass then we would recommend using ‘Easy off Bam’ soap scum remover. Apply it and leaving for a few minutes, then rinse off & then repeating the cleaning process as above.
- Be Sure to Clean your Glass Fencing regularly. Leaving your glass too long will cause a build up of salt, dust, garden debris etc and with the Perth Summers, this can end up making the job far harder than it needs to be.
Maintenance & Cleaning Tips for Stainless Steel Products
- Please remember that Stainless Steel products are not ‘Stain Free’. Salt and outdoor elements can build up on these products causing a stain knows as ‘tea staining’ which can be removed, this is NOT rust.
- Cleaning regularly will help maintain spotless products.
- Use a mid dishwasher detergent with a little bit of water to wash down and wipe over with a microfibre cloth
- To remove ‘Tea Stains’ use a soft non scratch cleaning pad with the detergent mixture.
- We do not recommend using any harsh products. Should you choose to use a chosen product not recommended by us we can not be held responsible for any damage that it may cause.
- Be sure to Clean your Stainless Steel Hardware regularly. Leaving your glass too long will cause a build up of salt, dust, garden debris etc and with the Perth Summers, this can end up making the job far harder than it needs to be.
